REACH BEYOND GOD: GET OUT OF THE CAGE OF BUDDHISM INTO THE FRESH AIR OF BUDDHA DHARMA

避牢笼佛教 进入爽气法源

The idea that Chan or Zen is Buddhism is a grave error, for it chains the mind to rites and ceremonies. Chan has Buddha Dharma as its base and the Sutras, though not most important, are a source of valid and important support.

The bars of the cage of Buddhism are made of thousands of thoughts. The mind is present in the construction of the teachings, methods and the internal politics of the various systems. Perhaps the most pure is that of Theravada, but it unfortunately does not have the powerful understanding of the later teachings.

Buddha Dharma, on the other hand, is free from the mind if you really understand the problem of the religious and social contamination of Buddhism and truly and diligently correct the present human frailty of concern for the future and reminiscence of the past.

I will frequently elaborate upon that theme.

Some do indeed look for answers beyond the illusions of Samsara, this life. Some find God and many in the West, Jesus of Nazareth.

Many of these believe with great faith that human Awakening in the Buddhist sense is inferior to reaching out to God through Jesus. In this they are correct, for Buddhism is not Buddha Dharma.

Buddha Dharma, when there is true Awakening, reaches beyond the Absolute Duality of God and Jesus of Nazareth. Awakening is a beginning, not an end, and as Buddha declared is of no worldly benefit at all.

Awakening allows the Shén Spirit to touch beyond the human mind and all its words, ideas and phrases, to the fundamental experiences which make up the Life Force.

While God and any prophet can lead anyone out of Samsara, it cannot take anyone beyond God, where the greater truths of the Life Force lie.

That Life Force can be used, but never manipulated or converted into a source for granting human favors. One must allow the Life Force's energy of non-interfering life perpetuation be one that includes the generation of the human force for the continuation of individual life and the diversity of all life forms.
