GOVERNMENT: THE ENEMY OF BUDDHA DHARMA

Government is said to be "for the people, by the people" but while it may be "by the people," by foolish proxy, it is certainly not "for the people" in any state of the world.

Has anyone signed a contract since his or her birth giving the state the absolute right to control all that is important? Where is the contract that declares that you agree to be taxed, to be subject to state laws or even to have to be subject to a slavery by the agreement of someone elected by others you are not in agreement with? Did you sign a contract giving the right of the state to use you for cannon fodder? Did you sign a contract giving the state the right to give you a number and be spied upon and controlled?

The list is endless and it is apparent that as each year passes we are more enslaved.

Where is the contract that says that you cannot move anywhere in this world that governments have taken possession of?

Furthermore the state has established what your moral ideas should be and decided if your intimate unions are correct or not. What is worse, they direct and control your food, your housing and have brainwashed almost everyone to conform to an acquisitive mediocrity. They control your education, your life, and even control you after death with rules of succession and death taxes which are cruel and without compassion.

"Unless all of the responsible adults subject to a government's claimed authority have voluntarily and explicitly accepted its governance on specific terms, the presumption must be that the rulers have simply imposed their rule."

Is this slavery in opposition to Dharma? That is the question addressed here.
